SHAARON O’DOHERTY

A student of NCAD in Art & Design Education, followed by a career in graphic design and signwriting, Shaaron had always wanted to paint. In recent years she has been able to devote herself to it on a full-time basis leading to several private sales and commissions.
Shaaron’s paintings are heavily inspired by our beautiful Irish landscape and she is particularly drawn to the sea.  She establishes her subject matter by walking (her other passion!), sketching along the way, and returning to her studio to capture the memory of a specific place and time and the feelings evoked on that occasion.
