ORLAGH MURPHY

I am a professional artist practicing from both my studio and in the en plein air tradition. Working in oils using both brush and palette knife; all paintings are completed in one sitting or alla prima as it is termed. My inspiration comes from the very rural area I live in; the hedgerows, boglands lakes and rivers have all have formed the basis of my work to date.
